29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means.    a) Roof, 3000 S.R. 405, Milton, PA - Employees on the commercial building roof worked and walked under the energized and uninsulated electrical power supply line (240V) that was held aloft by a wooden tripod and were exposed to a contact with an electrical current hazard, as observed on or about January 31, 2018.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    a) Roof, 3000 S.R. 405, Milton, PA - Employees installed metal roofing on a low sloped commercial roof without any fall protection and were exposed to a fall hazard between eight (8) foot from the roof edge to fifteen (15) foot from the roof peak (rake side) onto concrete or asphalt, as observed on or about January 31, 2018.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification and documentation is required for this violation.    X W Construction II Limited Liability Partnership a successor of XW Construction, Limited Liability Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 977805, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 20, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 1043 East Third Street, Nescopeck, PA.

In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is required for this violation.
