29 CFR 1910.146(g)(1): The employer did not provide training so that all employees whose work was regulated by 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit required confined spaces) acquired the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under 29 CFR 1910.146:  a) Ricotta room, blend tanks 1, 2, and 3 on or about 3/14/18: Entrants, attendants and entry supervisors were not trained on the permit required confined space hazards during the CIP process nor on methods to control the hazards including, but not limited to, employing lockout procedures to isolate corrosive chemicals prior to entry or in the alternative, locking the entry hatch to prevent entry into the tank during cleaning operations.  Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
