29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury:                                                                                                                A) Exterior, Roof of the structure: Employees were exposed to eye/face injuries while using pneumatic nail guns and were not protected by any type of eye/face protection, on or about March 22nd, 2018.    B) Exterior, Driveway : An employee was exposed to eye/face injuries while using an electric saw and was not protected by any type of eye/face protection, on or about March 22nd, 2018.      John Prevete Framing Contractor was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 908069, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 21st, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1106 Ocean Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach in NJ.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):     Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b)      A) Upper level of structure: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet while engaged in framing work on the roof of a structure without a means of fall protection in place, on or about March 22nd, 2018.      John Prevete Framing LLC was previously cited REPEAT for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1173047, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on January 27, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 600 Lackawanna Avenue, Woodland Park, NJ.
