29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about 06/04/18, during renovations of "The Factory" located at 36 - 39 Russell Street, in Rochester, New York, workers performing renovation work for residential occupancy, were not protected from falling through an open window frame with fall protection systems as noted in 1926.501(b)(1). The indoor floor surface to lower window sill measured 34 inches and the outside measured 16 feet from lower window sill to ground level. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
