29 CFR 1910.179(j)(2)(iv): Monthly inspections of hoist chains, with a certification record which includes the date of inspection, the signature of the person who performed the inspection and an identifier of the chain which was inspected, were not performed:    a) Located just outside the boat maintenance shop and dock, on June 20, 2018, the employer allowed employees to operate the overhead boat crane without conducting monthly inspections of the lifting equipment.
