29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. On or about June 20, 2018 at Mendoza Paining, LLC the employer failed to ensure that equipment found to be damaged was repaired prior to use. Employees were allowed to utilize an Ultimate MX II 595 spray painter with damaged strain relief.
