On or about July 19, 2018:   Metal and Glass Co. employee working in the aerial lift at 300 Lakemont Drive in McDonough, Georgia helping to install metal panels was exposed to a fall of 12-16 feet to ground level where he was not tied off.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On or about July 19, 2018:    Metal and Glass Co. employee working on the roof of the building at 300 Lakemont Drive in McDonough, Georgia helping to install metal panels was exposed to a fall of 16 feet to ground level where he was not tied off.  Although there was a parapet, the employee intermittently stood on an incline of the roof that exposed the employee to the fall hazard.
