29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2):  The employer did not have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. Employers are required to provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds where the installation and use of such fall protection is feasible and does not create a greater hazard:    a)  Employee was exposed to 50 ft fall hazard during scaffold dismantling activities when not tied off with fall protection while  standing and operating the wheel hoist.     Location: 308 N 7th Street, Brooklyn NY    On or about 8/14/2018    NOTE:  BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
