29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line and safety monitoring system. Employees on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) wide or less, were not protected from falling by the use of a safety monitoring system.  The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards while they are installing roofing materials on a low-slope roof less than 50 feet wide.  This was most recently documented on or about September 24, 2018 at the commercial construction site located at 2220 S. 7 Highway in Blue Springs, Missouri.  The employees were not protected from falling in that no fall protection system was used and no safety monitoring system was used. Employees were laying out insulation sheets and were exposed to an approximate twelve foot fall hazard.  The JR & Company, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1064188 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 06/16/2015 with respect to a workplace located at .
