29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.     On or about October 9, 2018, during the installation of roofing material at the job site located at 150 Park Ledge, Peninsula, Ohio 44264; the employer did not ensure employees working on the roof of a single family home were protected from possible danger of eye injury from impact, or from flying objects from the employees installing roofing material.       The Lachen Bruder Construction Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.102(a)(1) Eye and face protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1114729, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/07/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 70 Whitefriars Dr, Akron, Ohio 44319.   20. 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     On or about October 9, 2018, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 150 Park Ledge, Peninsula, Ohio 44264; the employer did not ensure employees working on a roof of a single family home were protected from a fall of approximately 24 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.       The Lachen Bruder Construction Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1114729, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/07/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 70 Whitefriars Dr, Akron, Ohio 44319.

The Lachen Bruder Construction Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.1053(b)(1) Ladder Access), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1114729, citation number 01, item number 03 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/07/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 70 Whitefriars Dr, Akron, Ohio 44319.
