29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.    On 10/5/2018, employees of Krupp Construction, LLC were constructing a bridge near 1678 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Saint Louis, MO.  Employees were observed walking across the bridge spans which were approximately 11 feet high. The employees were not protected by falling by the use of guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems.

29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or   come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement.       On 10/5/2018, employees of Krupp Construction, LLC were constructing a bridge near 1678 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Saint Louis, MO.  Employees were exposed to impalement hazard while walking and working around protruding reinforcing steel. The reinforcing steel / rebar was not guarded to eliminate the hazards.
