29 CFR 1910.37(b)(5): Each doorway or passage along an exit access that could be mistaken for an exit was not marked "Not an Exit" or similar designation, or be identified by a sign indicating its actual use (e.g. closet): a) Southeast corner of the Parts Room: A door in the back of the room had been taken out of service by the employer due to the demolition of a concrete dock on the other side of the door. There was a lighted "Exit" sign above the door which may lead others to think it was an active Exit Door. There was no signage stating that it was no longer an exit.

29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: a) Worksite: A 3M full facepiece respirator used by an employee to apply fiberglass to boat bottoms had not been properly stored. The respirator was found to be dirty, misshaped and was covered in scratches. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED
