Violation was observed on or about November 21st, 2018

29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Work site was located at the intersection of Jackson Street and 56th Street, West New York, NJ 07093 Contractor employees were exposed to struck by and caught in hazards as the excavator operator opened a trench for the plumbers to perform tie in work and exposed them to cave in hazards from the undermined sidewalks and spoils piles stacked on leading edge of trench where plumbers were working. Violation was observed on or about November 21st, 2018
