29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  a) Shop - On or about 1/3/19, an employee's eyes were exposed to liquid splash when pouring Sterling TM113, Automotive Wheel Brightener, into a spray bottle.  This chemical is a corrosive with a pH of 4-5 and causes eye damage.  Employees were not provided with appropriate chemical splash goggles.   NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

The employer did not ensure that this container of hazardous chemicals was labeled, tagged or marked with appropriate information.  b) Shop - On or about 1/3/19 - A spray bottle containing Bug Remover C-71 was labeled "Bug Remover."   The employer did not ensure that this container of hazardous chemicals was labeled, tagged or marked with appropriate information.  ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
