29 CFR 1910.1026(h)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that no employee removed chromium (VI)-contaminated protective clothing or equipment from the workplace, except for those employees whose job it was to launder, clean, maintain, or dispose of such clothing or equipment:    (a) On January 7, 2019, Kustom Seating Unlimited, Inc. did not ensure that chromium (VI)-contaminated protective clothing and equipment were not removed from the workplace. Employees working in the welding department took their chromium (VI)-contaminated welding jackets home for laundering purposes.    In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
