29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:      In the maintenance work shop, an employee engaged in sanding a 1/2 inch x 15 inch part with their hands inside the lathe machine was exposed to unguarded nip points of rotating parts and caught-in hazards.    ATCO Rubber Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1221745, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/19/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2407 Police Center Dr., Plant City, Florida 33566.    ATCO Rubber Products, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1207168, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/9/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 185 County Line Rd., Plainville, GA. 30733.
