29 CFR 1926.502(k)(5): The fall protection plan did not document the reasons why the use of conventional fall protection systems (guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, or safety nets systems) are infeasible or why their use would create a greater hazard.  (a): Exterior Roof - An employee was utilizing a fall protection plan in lieu of conventional fall protection systems when installing a satellite dish on a residential roof. The fall protection plan did not document the reasons why using conventional fall protection was infeasible or why its use would create a greater hazard, on or about March 8, 2019.  Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
