No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route.   a) Krisco Sales, LLC/10B Jules Lane, New Brunswick, NJ - Warehouse: The fire exit route in Southeast corner of the warehouse was blocked by pallets of merchandise and other materials, impeding access, in case of fire or other emergency, to the emergency exit door.  Condition observed on or about 3/22/2019.

29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer shall ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l).  a) Krisco Sales, LLC/10B Jules Lane, New Brunswick, NJ - Warehouse: Forklift operators were not trained and evaluated to safely operate powered industrial trucks at the worksite.  To include, but not limited to: -Training shall consist of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee), and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.   Condition noted on or about 3/22/2019.
