General-duty citation text
29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and/or a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. At the location of 18200 W. 119th St. in Olathe, KS. an employee operating an articulating boom (JLG 7G459R) to the roof of a new commercial building was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet to the concrete below. The employee was exposed in that the lanyard on his harness was not attached to the anchor point of the articulating boom.
