29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) On or about 4/2/19 at a roof project located at 38 Orchard Place, Cheektowaga, New York; employees were placing shingles on the roof of a two story house. The roof had a 10 in 12 pitch and an eave height of approximately 10 feet. There was no fall protection in use.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED    House Crafters of WNY was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1058653, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/18/15, with respect to a workplace located at 27-28 Martingale Court, East Aurora, New York.    House Crafters of WNY was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1187547, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 2/13/17, with respect to a workplace located at 22 Inter Drive, West Seneca, New York.
