Further Processing Plant, Line #: 1 and 2 - On or about and times prior to March 27, 2019, energy control procedures (i.e. lockout/tagout procedures) were not utilized when employees removed blockages from metal piping that was connected to the UNIBLOC section of Nothum Batter Pro machines (model: Mod Pro PD 450), thus exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.

29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control.  a). Further Processing Plant, Line #: 1 and 2 - On or about and times prior to March 27, 2019, employees engaged in the removal of blockages inside metal piping connected to the UNIBLOC section of Nothum Batter Pro machines (model: Mod Pro PD 450) were not provided training that addressed the applicable energy source and the methods and means necessary to isolate and control the energy source, thus exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.
