29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     705 Station Road Amherst, MA: On or about July 2, 2019 employees were engaged in residential construction activities on a residence  which had unprotected sides and edges over 21 feet above the next lower and employees were not protected from falling by either safety net systems, guard rails or a personal fall arrest system.    GTA Construction Inc.  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1336578, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 29, 2018 , with respect to a workplace located at 113 Sumner Ave. Springfield, MA 01109.

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify fall protection training by preparing a written certification record.   705 Station Road Amherst, MA: On or about July 2, 2019 the employer had not verified fall protection training by preparing a written certification record of such training being completed.  Specific abatement documentation that this violation has been corrected must be provided within 10 days of the abatement in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1).
