29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:   a) UV Printing Area- On or about July 10, 2019, and at times prior thereto: Employees worked with and around corrosive chemicals including, but not limited to, UV Inks, and plate cleaning chemicals, during printing operations.  The eyewash located in the UV printing area was not suitable, in that:   1.)   The operator was required to perform a separate motion to remove nozzle protectors;    2.)   The eyewash was constructed in a manner that it could not be ensured that the flow of potable water could be maintained at a velocity low enough not to be injurious to users;    3.)   The valve was not simple to operate. In that, the operator was required to pull open the pin to the nozzles to activate the eyewash unit; and    4.)   The eyewash was not installed in a manner where the delivery of tepid water was ensured, when actuated. In that, the operator would be required to adjust hot and cold water actuators to find the optimal temperature.
