29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.     a)  On or about 07/30/19, at a residential property under renovation, located on 967 Chili Avenue, in Rochester, New York, the employer did not issue or enforce the use of fall protection while employees were working on an elevated surface (roof top) 24 feet above a lower level.      NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED    The Rock Environmental company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number_1261273, citation number_1, item number_1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/15/17, with respect to a workplace located at 1307 East Main Street, Rochester, New York.
