29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  At the jobsite located at Lot 66 14375 Parkhill St., in Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential construction activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the ceiling joists to the ground below. A training program associated with working at height, to recognize and to minimize the hazards of falling, was not provided.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  Employees were exposed to fall hazards.  At the jobsite located at Lot 66 14375 Parkhill St., in Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in framing a single family dwelling were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet from the ceiling joists to the ground below in that  fall protection system was not in place to keep them from falling.  Vega Construction, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 11287405, citation number2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 15893 W. 163rd Terrace, Olathe, Kansas.    Vega Construction, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1069545, citation number1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 11, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 37 Weatherby Subdivision 79TH PL, Kansas City, MO.
