29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded:    a)    Micro Weld America, LLC., CNC/Wire EDM area, on or about October 22nd, 2019 and times prior there to:  Employees utilized a Roll-In brand vertical band saw (Serial # 76043) in order to cut wood at the facility.  The band saw was not equipped with a guard to cover the unused portion of the saw blade and nip points created by the moving saw blade and blade guide rolls.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii):    a)    Micro Weld America, LLC., Production areas, on or about October 22nd, 2019 and times prior there to:  Employees worked with and around hazardous substances including, but not limited to, various metals (copper-beryllium) and acetone during welding operations onsite.  A written hazard communication program had not been developed and implemented.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:  Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below).  This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
