29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not ensure that material safety data sheets were readily accessible to the employees in their work area during each work shift:  (Construction Reference 1926.59)      Employees were exposed to chemical hazards.  Employees engaged in residential painting work at 12212 S. Quail Ridge, Olathe, Kansas were exposed to skin irritation / carcinogen hazards in that employees were not provided with safety data sheets to understand hazards associated with the chemicals being used on site such as Sherwin Williams Interior Acrylic Latex paints and Sherman Williams Semi Gloss paints.

29 CFR 1926.404(f)(6): The path to ground from circuits, equipment, or enclosures was not permanent and continuous:  (a)  Employees engaged in painting activities in the kitchen of the house located at 12212 S. Quail Ridge, Olathe, Kansas was exposed to electrical hazards due to the power cord of the floor lamp in the kitchen hallway not having a ground pin.  (b)  Employees engaged in painting activities in the kitchen of the house located at 12212 S. Quail Ridge, Olathe, Kansas was exposed to electrical hazards due to the power cord of the floor lamp in the unoccupied refrigerator opening being plugged into an extension cord that could not accept a ground pin.
