Employees were exposed in that during the removal of ceiling insulation and panels, the employees were working from a 2"x12"x20' wooden plank resting on the trusses of the false ceiling.

The employer is failing to protect employees from fall hazards. This was most recently documented on or about 11/30/19 at the establishment located at 510 E. Trail St. in Dodge City, Kansas. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet 6 inches to the concrete and piping below in that during the removal of ceiling insulation and panels, employees were anchored to a 7/8 inch cross brace not certified to support at least 5,000 pounds per employee attached.

Trail St. Dodge City, Kansas 67801 when an employee was hospitalized from a work-related incident at approximately 3:30 pm. OSHA learned of the incident at approximately 3:25 pm on 12/03/19.
