29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   On or about 01/14/2020 employees at the Glastonbury Estates framing project were exposed to falls while engaged in residential construction activities without fall protection in the following locations:    A) Employees were exposed to approximately 12' 6" falls while laying out the exterior walls for the framing of the second story. The employees were on the second floor deck marking the locations for their exterior walls.  The employees were not provided fall protection.     B) Employees were exposed to approximately 10' falls from the unprotected stairwell opening.  The second story stairwell opening was not protected resulting in interior falls of approximately 10' to the first floor deck.    LP Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard  (1926.501(b)(13)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1409394, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/15/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 153 Penwood Crossing, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
