29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section:  On or about 1/21/2020, at the conveyor system near the box scale in a facility located at 250 Georgia Highway, 247 Spur, Perry, GA:  Employees were exposed to caught-by hazard when they stopped and started a conveyor roller and used a handheld saw blade and hands to remove tape wrapped around the conveyor belt roller.  IN THE ALTERNATIVE  29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  On or about 1/21/2020, at the conveyor system near the box scale in a facility located at 250 Georgia Highway, 247 Spur, Perry, GA: Employees were exposed to caught-by hazard while using their hands and a makeshift saw blade to remove clear tape wrapped around the rotating shaft at the end of conveyor system.
