Milledgeville, GA - Employees were exposed to eye injuries in that the employer did not provide welding screens and/or eye protection in the Lift Gate Area while employees were welding on trucks, on or about 01/21/20.     Fouts Brothers, Inc. Milledgeville, GA  - Employees were exposed to eye injuries in that adequate welding screens and/or eye protection in the Rear Frames Area while welding, on or about 01/21/20.      In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

Milledgeville, GA - On or about January 21 2020, employees were exposed to chemicals such as, but are not limited to, welding fumes (containing chromium, nickel, iron oxide, zinc oxide, and vanadium pentoxide).  The employer did not maintain a written hazard communication program at the workplace.     In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).

The employer did not maintain a written hazard communication program at the workplace.  Safety Data Sheets were not available for employees immediate use.
