29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Fry Area: On or about 3/6/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to burn hazards, in that the employer did not provide personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect the arm pits of employees while cleaning the fryer, which contained oil between 145-345 degrees.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazard: a) Fry Area: On or about 3/6/2020, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to thermal burn hazards, in that the employer did not provide thermal protective sleeves, or equivalent effective personal protective equipment, to protect the arms of employees performing oil management duites when exposed to fryer oil and shortening heated to 145 - 345 degrees Fahrenheit.
