29 CFR 1926.701(a): Construction loads were placed on a concrete structure or portion of a concrete structure without the employer determining, based on information received from a qualified person in structural design, that the structure or portion of the structure was capable of supporting the load. On or about 07/11/2020, at 1 Sabre Lane, in the city of Naples, FL, employees were exposed to crushing hazards when the employer did not ensure that the hollow core slabs were capable to support workers installing the slabs and a pallet of cement bags that was stored on top of the hollow core.

On or about July 11, 2020 at 1 Sabre Lane, in the city of Naples, Florida, employees were exposed to crushing hazards when the employer did not make an adequate determination as to whether concrete hollow core slabs were capable of supporting workers and cement bags placed on top of the hollow cores.
