29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level.   (a) On August 14,2020; an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet to the ground surface below, when applying tape to drywall seams while working from the west end of the second platform of Werner, SRS-72 scaffolds. (a) On August 14,2020; an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 27 feet to the ground surface below, when applying tape to drywall seams while working without guardrails from the west end of the second platform of Werner, SRS-72 scaffolds.  NOTE - Abatement documentation and certification are NOT required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards.  (a) On August 14, 2020; an employee working on the second platform of a Warner, SRS-72 scaffold at heights of approximately 27 feet from the ground surface below had not been trained by a qualified person in order to recognize and minimize hazards associated with scaffold use.   NOTE - Abatement documentation and certification are required for this item.
