29 CFR  1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person (i.e., a person who is capable of identifying existing hazards).   (a) On or about September 27th, 2020, the employer did not conduct regular inspection to ensure employees were following safety and health procedures noted in their safety and health program, such as, but not limited to; wearing proper personal protective equipment, ladder safety, shoring, vehicle safety procedures, and other construction related hazards. This exposed the employee to struck-by hazards, fall hazards, trip/slip hazards, and other road construction hazards.
