29 CFR  1926.96:Safety-toe footwear for employees shall meet the requirements and specifications in American National Standard for Men's Safety-Toe Footwear, Z41.1-1967. [58 FR 35152; June 30, 1993]  Emergency OPS Ctr. Klamath:  Employees using hand tools, nails, mobile lifts, and lumber to frame the inside of the project were observed not wearing work boots with safety toes as required.  Employees are exposed to crushing and impalement hazards.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  Fall Protection Training:  A framer who had recently worked at heights in excess of 6 feet had not been trained in the employer's Fall Protection Program.  Program requirement and potential fall hazard.
