Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph   a.) 471 Hasbrouck Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights NJ/ Building front: Three employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet while performing work on a roof with a pitch of 6 by 12, without personal fall arrest system or other means of fall protection, on or about December 4, 2020.

29 CFR  1926.32(f):"Competent person" means one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.  a) 471 Hasbrouck Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights NJ/ Building front: Three employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet while performing work on a roof with a pitch of 6 by 12, without a competent person who was capable of identifying hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which were hazardous was not on site, on or around 12/04/2020.
