The employer required employees to wear respirators while providing care to suspect and confirmed positive COVID-19 residents, on or about December 1, 2020.   Note:  The employer may discontinue an employee's medical evaluations when the employee is no longer required to use a respirator.  Abatement certification and documentation required.

The employer did not report the work-related fatality to OSHA within eight hours.  The employer reported the death to OSHA on January 20, 2020.  Abatement Certification Required.
