29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Located along various front and rear areas of the residential structure's 6 in 12 steep pitched roof deck with unprotected sides or edges employees were observed performing roof deck associated sheeting activities without conventional or regulation compliant fall protection systems exposed to fall potentials in excess of 18 feet who were not trained to recognize the associated fall hazards and were not knowledgeable of the procedures or regulations to be followed to minimize those hazards.
