The height difference between the sidewalk shed access point and the balcony was approximately 3.5 feet.

Location: a) Sidewalk shed (scaffold), front of building  a) On or about 04/29/2021, an employee was cleaning the sidewalk shed scaffold, which required him to walk to the exposed edge, without the use of his personal fall arrest system harness and guardrails. The employee was also allowed to jump from the exposed edge of the sidewalk shed scaffold to the balcony area.
