Kennedy International Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430  Employees required to use hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to, propane, while changing out propane tanks on powered industrial vehicles were not provided with appropriate eye protection.   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

On or about June 25, 2021 at Building #89, John F. Kennedy International Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430  The employer failed to develop, implement and maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program for employees that are required to use hazardous chemicals such as but not limited, compressed propane gas, during the changing of propane tanks on powered industrial vehicles (i.e. forklifts).   ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
