The rotating drill bit was not equipped with a guard to prevent employee exposure to flying chips and rotating parts.    c) Machine Shop Vectax Milling Machine: On or about June 23, 2021 and times prior, employees used a Vectrax milling machine to cut grove in parts.  The rotating bit was not provided with a guard to prevent employee exposure to the flying chips and rotating parts.   d) Machine Shop Jet Drill Press: On or about June 23, 2021 and times prior, employees used a Jet Drill Press to drill holes in aluminum parts.  The rotating drill bit was not provided with a guard to prevent employee exposure to the flying chips and rotating parts.   e) Machine Shop DoAll Vertical Bandsaw: On or about June 21, 2021 and times prior, employees used a DoAll Vertical bandsaw to cut a 1 inch chunk of plastic.  The guard of the saw was not adjusted to protect employees from the unused portion of the blade.    f) Machine Shop Monarch Lathe: On or about June 22, 2021 and times prior, employees used a Monarch lathe to cut plastic.  The lathe was not equipped with a guard to prevent employee exposure to rotating parts.
