29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  (a) At the worksite:  On or about 7/14/2021, employees engaged in solar panel installation on a low sloped roof (approximately 2/12 pitch), were not protected by a guardrail system, a safety net system or a personal fall arrest system, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet.  Louth Callan Renewables, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510228, citation number 001, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on 3/30/2021, with respect to a workplace located at 2030 Nooseneck Hill Road, Coventry, RI 02816.
