29 CFR  1926.416(e)(1) : Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used.  a. On or about August 19, 2021, at the West, LLC staging area yard, to the northeast  of the main building, employees were exposed to electrical hazards while using a pipe threading machine connected to an extension cord with worn or frayed insulation.  NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

29 CFR  1926.302(b)(1): Compressed air hose(s) exceeding half an inch inside diameter, were not secured at the source of supply or at the hoses connecting point by a safety clip and/or a hose whip restraint to prevent the hoses from becoming accidentally disconnected.   a. On or about August 19, 2021, outside, as well as indoors, the new main building southwest corner, employees were exposed to unsecured air compressor hoses. West, LLC employees were using the equipment to push water out of electrical conduits.  NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
