29 CFR  1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  On or about October 25, 2021, at a commercial construction site near 23155 Morton Ranch Dr. in Katy, TX, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet while performing construction work on the edge of the roof of the gas station canopy without fall protection system.

29 CFR  1926.451(e)(1):When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used.  Crossbraces were used as a means of access.  On or about October 25, 2021, at a commercial construction site near 23155 Morton Ranch Dr. in Katy, TX, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard while accessing a scaffold that had no access ladder.  HUGO SORIANO, WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1312786, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON OCTOMBER 03, 2018, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1101 TEXAS 146 BUSINESS. LA PORTE, TX 77571.

On or about October 25, 2021, at a commercial construction site near 23155 Morton Ranch Dr. in Katy, TX, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard greater than 10 feet when working from a scaffold without a fall protection system.
