29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  On or about October 28, 2021, employees engaged in residential construction were exposed to fall hazards while working from heights above 6 feet without fall protection.  Escandon Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335022, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on (11-23-2018), with respect to a workplace located at 5832 Normont, EL PASO, TX 79905.

29 CFR  1926.503(c)(3):Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee have not retained the requisite understanding or skill.  On or about October 28, 2021, the employer did not ensure that employees working on a single story residential roof retained the requisite understanding or skill for safe work practices.   Escandon Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1335022, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on (11-23-2018), with respect to a workplace located at 5832 Normont, EL PASO, TX 79905 .
