29 CFR  1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures shall be developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees are engaged in the activities covered by this section.   On or about March 18, 2022,  the employer failed to develop, document, and utilize energy control procedures for the Pillet 79024 NIOR Cutter box assembly, located on the G-Line Extruder.   Employees engaged in cleaning activities on the equipment were exposed to residual energy from the rotating cutting blade of the cutter box assembly, which could result in serious injury.
