At the jobsite, employees were not wearing hardhats while working below other employees that were installing framing material to a residential house, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from falling objects.

At the jobsite, employees operating Pneutools nail guns while performing framing activities were not wearing eye protection, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by flying objects.

29 CFR  1926.405(g)(2)(iii): Splices. Flexible cords shall be used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap.   At the jobsite, employees used a black power cord to power the Dewalt Skill saw.  The black cord was spliced to a orange extension cord and wrapped with black tape, exposing employees to the hazard of electrical burns and shock.

At the jobsite, employees engaged in framing activities at a height of over 6 feet were not protected by a fall arrest system. Employees were exposed to an unprotected fall of over 08 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  At the jobsite, the employer did not provide a training program with hazard recognition and avoidance training where employees were performing framing activities above 6 feet without fall protection and exposed to fall hazards at a heights of approximately 8 feet to the ground below.
