29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form:   (a)	On or before May 9, 2022, the employer did not evaluate the respiratory hazards in the workplace when a contractor built counter equipment inside the facility. The contractor welded on galvanized steel while employees performed their normal duties inside the shop.  This condition exposed employees to the hazards of breathing metal welding fumes.    (b)	On or before May 9, 2022, the employer did not evaluate the respiratory hazards in the workplace when a contractor built counter equipment inside the facility. The contractor used a hand-held grinder on galvanized steel while employees performed their normal duties inside the shop.  This condition exposed employees to the hazards of breathing metal particulates and fumes.    Note:  The requirements applicable to construction work under 1926.103 are identical to those set forth at 29 CFR 1910.134 of this chapter.
