29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A):Flexible cords and cables were used as a substitute for fixed wiring of a structure: Employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards. Employees engaged in in production activities in the Pellet Mill Area were exposed to fire and electrical shock hazards in that the flexible cord used to supply permanent power to the heat trace on the fat line was used in lieu of fixed wiring.

29 CFR 1910.101(b): 1910.101 Compressed gases (general requirements) (b): "Compressed gases." The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Employees engaged in material handling operations near the compressed gas cylinder storage area, were exposed to fire and explosion hazards. The employer did not store compressed gas cylinders in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, Section 3.3 Storing Cylinders. Compressed gas cylinders were improperly stored and not clearly labeled, in that empty and full cylinders were not stored separately, and did not have labeling indicating full and empty cylinder placement.

Employees engaged in operations within the priority housekeeping areas located in the finish feed deck area were exposed to health hazards in that the employer did not ensure that combustible fugitive grain dust accumulation were removed.
